Our cities need big ideas. Young people need a platform. That’s where NXT City comes in.
We’re a not-for-profit organization that connects young leaders with city builders to create, activate and program public spaces. We work with public and private partners to pull off compelling programs that engage and spur young people to action.
In four short years, NXT City has led:
- A successful ideas competition that generates over 150 public space ideas per year.
- A high-calibre public space symposium that attracts everyone from top CEOs and civic leaders to students and young professionals.
- Quarterly talks that bring together key players on controversial topics in urbanism.
- Toronto’s leading city building party that draws over 600 people in unique warehouse spaces.
And that’s just the beginning.
